Founded in 2013 by Chartered Structural Engineer and Director, Nick Kitchen.
With over twenty-two years structural engineering experience, Nick has gained a wealth of knowledge in feasibility studies, planning supervisor duties, structural inspections, design, detailing, and approval of structural engineering projects utilising steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
Much of Nick’s portfolio includes large commercial developments, refurbishment projects and multi-storey residential blocks with basement parking. As Opus has grown, Nick has also worked more and more with private homeowners on self-build projects, conversions and renovations.
